Reflections in Caswell

Caswell is a spacious and lovely beach to paint, with plenty of scope for reflections at low tide due to the constant trickle of streams running through. Sometimes it feels as though you’re walking in the sky!

I painted this one from a spot tucked away in the rocks. The surface is natural linen, which I love so much I often can’t bring myself to cover it all up.
